The Golden Era Recorded Music Project is a weekly show for MUSICAL EXPLORERS who want to go where their ears have never been before.
It's the FOURTH OF JULY and we will hear how CHARLES IVES captured the AMERICAN NOISE New England style.
FATS WALLER and BESSIE SMITH tunes from the 1930's in jazz arrangements by VIC DICKENSON will lead into another chapter of our search for the GREAT AMERICAN SYMPHONY.
We will hear parts of the 12 section VINCENT PERSICHETTI WINTER CANTATA for women's chorus, flute & marimba and marvel over EDWARD ELGAR'S backward glances to his own childhood in the midst of WORLD WAR I mayhem, Zeppelin raids and destruction.
We send out a link for the Zoom meeting every Wednesday by email! Please contact us and let us know if you'd like to be added to the mailing list.
See you all at 7 pm TONIGHT!
