GERM on ZOOM: Jan 6, 2021

The Golden Era Recorded Music Project continues tonight on Zoom! Tonight we will conclude our BEETHOVEN BIRTHDAY PARTY (250 years!) with the final 3 movements of Quartet No. 14.

The haunting voice of JOAN BAEZ live in concert from the early 1960's will feature 4 songs including the LONG BLACK VEIL.

THEN we will take a nostalgic trip back to LAKE GEORGE in the 1980's when THE YOUNG AMBASSADORS cornet band from GREAT BRITAIN was an annual summertime visitor to SHEPHERD'S PARK. A. L. WEBBER and DON'T CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA.

Through bramble bushes, across a glacier, dodging cow pies upwards to THE SUMMIT with RICHARD STRAUSS and his ALPINE SYMPHONY from KINGSWAY HALL, London. Then BOLA SETE, a BRAZILLIAN guitarist friend of John FAHEY, and his album OCEAN.

We send out a link for the Zoom meeting every Wednesday by email! Please contact us and let us know if you'd like to be added to the mailing list.

See you all at 7 pm TONIGHT!
