GERM on ZOOM: May 19, 2021

We gather on Wednesday to mine the rich veins of musical gold on LP from 1948 to 1988.

Tonight we continue our listening to the developing piano sound, from its invention in 1700 to the 21st century; we are back in 1815 and we will hear the actual PIANO-FORTE BEETHOVEN played in composing his sonata No. 21.

We stay on the heights of inspiration with CHUCK MANGIONE and a brief CONCERTO for FLUGELHORN and TRUMPET from his CHILDREN of SANCHEZ LP.

The RCA anthology HISTORY of JAZZ PIANO is a goldmine of great artists. YOU will pick the selections from an ALL STAR ROSTER!

Whether its Friday afternoon in Prince Albert Hall or on the Esplanade of Boston, the music of ALBERT KETELBEY is a sure-fire hit. Let's go to A PERSIAN MARKET!

The most beautiful 3 minutes of music? My pick, coming up!

We send out a link for the Zoom meeting every Wednesday by email! Please contact us and let us know if you'd like to be added to the mailing list.

See you all at 7 pm TONIGHT!
